When you use Dyslexia Evaluation, we collect the following types of information:
- Email address -- provided when you purchase a screening, used to deliver your results and report.
- Child's grade level -- selected during the screening setup to calibrate the assessment appropriately.
- Payment information -- processed securely by Stripe. We do not store your credit card number, expiration date, or CVV on our servers.
- Assessment responses -- your child's answers and interactions during the screening tasks.
- Audio recordings -- captured during the phoneme analysis portion of the screening, where your child speaks into the microphone.
How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect for the following purposes:
- To deliver the screening -- your child's responses and audio recordings are analyzed to generate the screening results.
- To generate reports -- we produce a detailed PDF report based on the assessment data.
- To send results via email -- your report and screening results are delivered to the email address you provide.
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Data Storage and Security
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and stored on secure servers. We take reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information against unauthorized access, alteration, or destruction.
Audio recordings captured during the phoneme analysis portion of the screening are processed to generate results and are not retained long-term. Once processing is complete, audio data is deleted.
Third-Party Services
We use the following third-party services to operate Dyslexia Evaluation:
- Stripe -- for secure payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy governs their handling of your payment information.
- AWS SES -- for sending email, including your screening results and report delivery.
- Cloudflare -- for website security, performance, and content delivery.

Children's Privacy
Dyslexia Evaluation is designed to be administered by a parent or guardian. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children. The screening is set up and initiated by an adult, and any audio recordings captured during the assessment are used solely for phoneme analysis to generate screening results.
We do not collect children's names, email addresses, or other personally identifying information. The screening is associated with the parent or guardian's email address and payment information only.
Your Rights
You have the right to request deletion of your personal data, including assessment results, reports, and any associated audio recordings. To request data deletion, contact us at [email protected].
We will respond to deletion requests within 30 days.
Cookies
Dyslexia Evaluation uses minimal cookies for session management and staging authentication only. We do not use advertising cookies, tracking pixels, or third-party analytics cookies.
